To make a New Year's Wish Tree, follow the step-by-step instructions below.:
Get access to the wishing star ornaments at the button below.
Print the star ornaments that you would like to use. Heavyweight cardstock is best, but any printer paper will do. (Print star ornaments out on colored cardstock for more color choices!)
Cut out star ornaments.
Write wishes for yourself or someone you love on the back of each wishing star ornament.
Use a single hole punch to make a hole in each star, thread a piece of ribbon or baker's twine through it, and hang it on a wishing tree. (Add them to your Christmas tree, use a twig tree, or put bare branches into a vase with sand or pebbles to weigh it down so it does not fall.)

Eight pages of printable star wish tree ornaments are available in this set. As you can see in the photo, the first four printable sheets of star ornaments each have the word "Wish" written on them. The wishing star ornament printable templates are made in four colors for you to choose from: gold, silver, red, and black, and are labeled accordingly to make it easy for you to print your favorite colors of wishing star ornaments.
The second set of printable star ornament templates also contains four pages. These star ornaments have "wishing words" written on them. The words written on the stars on each page of the wish tree ornaments are the same. Only the colors change from page to page.
